Dave Campbell’s Texas Football this week named Hutto ISD Superintendent Jeni Neatherlin one of the 10 most influential women in Texas high school football. Neatherlin was recognized for her leadership in athletics administrators and aspiring head football coaches. She has a strong passion for coordinating the efforts between academics and athletics.
Hutto ISD today announced Eric Johnson as the founding Principal of Lee Martinez Elementary School, which is scheduled to open this Fall. Johnson has worked in Hutto ISD for nearly four years, most recently serving as Principal at Veterans’ Hill Elementary School. He brings over 20 years of experience to Hutto ISD’s latest campus, the District’s eighth for elementary students.
This August, 32 additional Hutto ISD teachers will receive a boost in pay under the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program — an initiative that rewards top-performing teachers with higher salaries, and aids in attracting and retaining incredible talent. "We are thrilled to recognize our dedicated educators for their hard work and impact on student success,” said Jeni Neatherlin, Superintendent of Hutto ISD.
Hutto ISD on Friday announced it received the 2025 Award of Merit for Purchasing Operations from The Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO). Each year, volunteers with the TASBO Purchasing & Supply Management Research Committee evaluate the award criteria to ensure it represents the latest best practices.
