Expectations/ Procedures

Great job, everyone, for trending up through the 1st semester: #gains!

A couple of projects coming our way the 2nd semester and the verb work gets more rigorous, along with stacking more content, so let's get it!

Students keep a journal (COMPOSITION NOTEBOOK), NOT a spiral for Spanish class.

ANY ONLINE assignments FROM THE SITES WE USE can always be made up for full credit: simply do the RECOVERY work in your JOURNAL or take a picture of completed work on the screen and EMAIL IT as an attachment to Profe Lopez. Printouts are last resort to save on paper and ink costs. Lost worksheets are on the student to print out at the library/home.

When class work is not completed, it CAN become your homework.
Any guided practice work with teacher assistance AND STUDENT FEEDBACK can NOT be made up.
Any workbook assignments can be submitted LATE for max credit of a 75 ANYTIME up to the 5th week in the term IF assigned as independent/partner/group practice.

Missed video/audio work will be assigned a NO-COUNT  in the gradebook due to logistics of making it up.

Reviews are available online. I recommend students take pictures of the review to have them wherever they go for study and practice.

Some UNIT Tests & Recovery options are online based and can be studied/accessed ahead of time for review and mastery. Unit exams and FINALS will be administered using Quia.com. There are rosters created already for all students and every student will have their own login and password.

Questions and answer banks will be randomized to ensure test integrity, but each exam will allow 2 attempts to encourage review of feedback and increase mastery.
